Bromley Council are progressing plans to spend £570,000 of TfL money on a new cycle quietway from Kent House to Greenwich via Lewisham and Catford.
Officers undertook consultation regarding proposed Quietway routes in Bromley during January this year.
Kent House station will see its forecourt improve including tree planting and more cycle stands. This was the most strongly supported measure in the consultation.
The cycle lane crosses the borough boundary near Lower Sydenham station before heading south past new Beckenham station.
Plans at Kent House station include: “two-tier cycle racks, install cycle stands in place of the
proposed planters and provide a pump and repair station for cyclists to undertake basic repairs.”
