Ikea have announced that their forthcoming Bromley store will open in less than two weeks on 28th March.
The store is far smaller than many of their major stores and will be located in the former Mothercare unit. It’s a new conept store along the lines of one that opened in Tottenham Court Road.
The idea is people visit, plans what they would like with staff and then order for delivery. There is also space for classes (as seen at the new Ikea in Greenwich) and demonstrations as well as classes.
Bromley town centre continues to do relatively well compared to many across the UK. Lidl recently opened on the high street – which successfully appeals to retailers across the spectrum.
